Q: General Announcement
A: We have an updated version of the North Slope Borough Standard Technical Services Agreement. To receive a copy in MS Word, please submit a request to dkettwich@adsadsi.com and a copy shall be sent. It appears this document may be part of the agreement that governs the services to be provided. Negotiations intend to begin on the 26th of June and are intended to be completed over the weekend so that Service Providers may present signed paperwork prior to the start of the business day on Monday the 29th of June.
Q: Would North Slope Borough consider a contract format offered by the service provider or will it require using a Borough contract format?

Q: Can you please confirm or correct the following statements regarding A and Z locations?
In the table from Attachment 2 labeled "outside of, or to/from Barrow":
1. For the line labeled "North Slope Borough – ANC and a Medical Cloud", the A location is ‘North Slope Borough – Adult MH and SA Outpatient" (5200 Karluk) and the Z location is a "Medical Cloud" (Anchorage)
2. The Z Location for all other 5Mbps minimum services is "North Slope Borough – Adult MH and SA Outpatient" (5200 Karluk)
3.The Z Location for all 3Mbps minimum services is a "Medical Cloud" (Anchorage)

1. The Z Location for all services is "North Slope Borough – Adult MH and SA Outpatient" (5200 Karluk)
A: The goal is to consolidate/organize connectivity in Barrow at HCP 14703 (5200 Karluck). In theory, either end of the circuit could be considered the Aloc or Zloc. Connection(s) to a/the Medical cloud are also requested. Please put forth your most cost effective design for evaluation.
Note: HCF will probably not be used, meaning support for all connections may be sought under the TP.

Q: In attachment 2, on page 14, What is the minimum upload for each location? Is the customer asking for symmetrical or asymmetrical bandwidth?
A: I would use the minimums as listed, I'd say symmetrical bandwidth is almost always preferred.
Q: In attachment 2, page 14, for example, Atqasuk has two minimum requirements, 3Mbps and 5Mbps. What is the difference between them? Can you clarify the information?
A: There are multiple connections - options for connectivity are encouraged.
Q: In attachment 2, page 14, what is the Z location in Anchorage for the medical cloud?
A: That is up to the service provider and how access is provided to medical partners.

This is the building they referred to as the “complex”, essentially one big building with two entrances. One entrance is 723 Natchiq Street and the other side of the building is 579 Kingosak Street. We are still trying to determine GPS coordinates.
Q: Regarding ITB attachment 3 what is the address in Barrow where the provider should install the 500Mbps of internet access?

A: Internet may be awarded at any location in Barrow, but the "main location" is HCP 14703 (5200 Karluk Street, Barrow, AK 99273).
