Q: 1) Will Grace Christian School accept a proposal where the vendor agrees to provide a signed contract promptly on award in lieu of a signed contract with the bid? 2) Will Grace Christian School accept a proposal where the vendor’s response is conditioned on vendor’s contract form and vendor’s terms and conditions?
A: 1) Yes. 2) Yes. Note: It is preferred that the SPAR be returned and any/all exceptions be named. The signed and dated SPAR helps to establish that the response was submitted prior to the deadline to respond.

Q: We are considering bidding. Would Grace evaluate and consider a cable modem bid?
A: The application does not have and option for best effort services like DSL or Cable Modem.

Q: 1) Are the 40 APs a 1 to 1 replacement of the current infrastructure? 2) Do the current switches provide PoE+ (802.3at)? 3) Do the current switches have enough PoE budget to power all of the APs and any other PoE capable devices? 4) Is it the expectation that the current configuration is migrated to the new wireless network solution? a. SSIDs b. Authentication Method(s) c. Adaptive Radio Resource Management profiles. 5) Has there been a predictive heat map created for each site with current or new AP mounting locations determined? 6) Are the current APs mounted on the ceilings and/or walls? a. If mounted on the walls, how many of the APs are mounted in this way? 7) Does Grace Christian School require any of the APs to use NEMA enclosures for gyms or any other area where an AP could potentially be damaged? a. Are there already NEMA closures available in these areas that could potentially be reused? 8) What is the ceiling mounting type. If it is drop ceiling is the Tbar standard 9/16 or 15/16 inch? 9) Is there existing cabling or will this be new cabling? If new, are their building diagrams available?
A: Installation is optional and more than likely will not be purchased. Please provide options based on the requirements outlined in the Invitation to Bid. The equipment specified provides a baseline for acceptable technology specifications.
