Q: 1. While the IFB states “that the Service Provider’s preprinted or standard terms shall not be considered as a part of any resulting Contract,” the IFB also states that all Contracts, Statements, of Work, and/or Service Agreements should be submitted with this response with a handwritten signature and date.” Would PCSD consider an offer which requires the inclusion of the service provider’s standard terms and conditions regarding, among other things, service descriptions and Service Level Agreements?
2. In the exceptions section of the service provider’s response, can the service provider reference provisions from an attached standard agreement as potential replacement language for the provision being excepted?
A: You may propose your contracts. Or you may accept the terms of the Invitation to Bid. You may have exceptions, that is fine. We hope that vendors return an authorized SPAR even if you take exception to using some of the proposed terms. The evaluation criteria as outlined in the invitation to bid shall be used by the applicant to determine the winner. Please make sure all costs are identified as that is critical in determining the most cost effective solution.
Q: what fortinet firewall model are you seeking?
A: Fortinet D60s are currently deployed. Please provide service for those devices or something that is similar or equivalent.
